DPS and Royal Cork Yacht Club (RCYC) are happy to announce that they have reached a new sponsorship deal.

Founded in 1720 The Royal Cork Yacht Club is located in Crosshaven, County Cork and is the oldest Yacht Club in the world.

The DPS and RCYC partnership began in 2001 with DPS sponsoring the main Safety Boat at RCYC. The agreement will see DPS become the title sponsor of the Junior Mixed Dinghies Fleet for the upcoming season which lasts from Spring to Autumn.

The sponsorship will also help RCYC try to maintain the recent success they have enjoyed in this class by helping to fund regular and structured racing leagues, and incorporating a new and improved coaching structure. Children between the ages of 13 and 19 are encouraged to try sailing, both as a sport and as a way to appreciate the scenic beauty of Cork Harbour.
