Summary
DPS Group Global is looking for a highly motivated BMS Engineer to support a client in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will support the building management systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting of HVAC controls issues
  • Troubleshoot BMS and BAS - BAS Metasys and Delta controls
  • Review and provide equipment operation recommendations
  • Support our BMS vendors on ongoing BMS maintenance and upgrades
  • Support lab services in maintaining freezer/incubator alarms
  • Support of external consultants for commissioning, controls analytics, and engineering studies
  • Work with the project manager to coordinate the activities and needs of the installation team
  • Attend on site coordination meetings as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain an installation punch list prior to the close of the project
  • Day-to-day collaboration with BMS Manager and Global Engineering team.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Building Automation background in the form of engineering and/or installation and programming
  • Versed in DDC logic sufficient to be able to follow and troubleshoot logic programming
  • Good understanding of HVAC equipment and operation
  • Good understanding of control wiring and relay logic
  • Experience with Metasys SMP is a plus
  • Must be an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in always following through.
