DPS Group Global is looking for a highly motivated BMS Engineer to support a client in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will support the building management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting of HVAC controls issues
- Troubleshoot BMS and BAS - BAS Metasys and Delta controls
- Review and provide equipment operation recommendations
- Support our BMS vendors on ongoing BMS maintenance and upgrades
- Support lab services in maintaining freezer/incubator alarms
- Support of external consultants for commissioning, controls analytics, and engineering studies
- Work with the project manager to coordinate the activities and needs of the installation team
- Attend on site coordination meetings as appropriate
- Develop and maintain an installation punch list prior to the close of the project
- Day-to-day collaboration with BMS Manager and Global Engineering team.
- Building Automation background in the form of engineering and/or installation and programming
- Versed in DDC logic sufficient to be able to follow and troubleshoot logic programming
- Good understanding of HVAC equipment and operation
- Good understanding of control wiring and relay logic
- Experience with Metasys SMP is a plus
- Must be an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in always following through.
