Jim Grunwald joins DPS as VP, Strategic Development
Jim Grunwald is now a member of the DPS Operations team in the role of Vice President, Strategic Development. Based in Framingham, MA, he reports directly to Aidan O’Dwyer, Senior Vice President.
Jim brings over 30 years of A/E/C experience in project management and business development for life sciences projects. He is now tasked with helping DPS devise and deliver world class facility solutions to our pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients in the US.
Most recently, Jim worked in a hybrid role of Regional Manager, New England and Director of US Strategic Development for Commissioning Agents, Inc., with responsibility for delivering OPM services to key accounts. He has also held senior positions with leading A/E/C-related firms that include SciTech Builders, A/Z Corporation, and SPEC Engineering.
Jim also served as a past president and board member for the Boston Area Chapter of ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering). And even today, he remains very active in ISPE.
Additionally, Jim is a founding member of the New England chapter of I2SL (International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories). This organization promotes sustainable laboratories and related high-technology facilities, from design to engineering to operation.
This group aligns closely with Jim’s strong professional interest in the application of new technologies for R&D and manufacturing initiatives, along with sustainable design initiatives.
During off hours, Jim enjoys golf, skiing, fly fishing, mountain biking, and spending time with friends and family.
