Position Summary:
As a System Engineer specializing in Factory Management Software Testing, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and integration of our new software solution into our manufacturing processes. 
In this role, you'll be responsible for regularly showcasing project progress, proposed improvements, and identifying challenges or blockers.  Effective communication, strategic problem-solving, and proactive planning are key components of this responsibility.  This role requires a deep understanding of both software systems and the unique requirements of the [Semiconductor/Pharmaceutical] industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with software development teams to understand system requirements and functionality.
  2. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  3. Execute test cases and document test results, including defects and issues found during testing.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and IT, to coordinate testing activities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  5. Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization in software testing procedures.
  6. Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues during testing and post-implementation.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Factory Management software and testing methodologies.
  8. Data Analysis and Visualisation

    -Utilize Seeq Data Lab for data exploration and analytics, using python programming language and Jupiter notebook.

    -Develop code to organize datasets for reporting and analysis.

    -Build interactive dashboards like Dash, Plotly, or Pandas for dynamic data visualization

  9. Application Development

    -Create custom web applications, including search functionality and dynamic graphs.

    -Develop Sankey diagrams and other advanced visualizations for data flow representation.

  10. Data Management and Integration

    -Handle data processing and transformation pipelines to support visualization efforts.

    -Maintain organized datasets for seamless integration with visualization tool

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of  SCADA systems and Factory Automation software is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the [Semiconductor/Pharmaceutical] industry, such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or SEMI standards.
  • Certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
