About the Role

Arcadis DPS Group specializes in Project Management, Multi-Discipline Design, and Construction Management for Pharmaceutical and Life Science Buildings. Based in our Dublin and/or Cork office (mobility required), you will lead and grow our Life Sciences sector across Ireland and the UK, reporting to the Sales Director Life Sciences Europe. You’ll drive commercial strategy and sector growth, ensuring Arcadis is the trusted partner for clients across major Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all commercial activities for the Life Sciences sector in Ireland and the UK.
  • Develop and implement sales growth strategies, manage the sales pipeline, and set clear priorities aligned with global standards.
  • Drive profitable sales growth, lead proposal development, and support key pursuits from bid/no-bid decisions through to closing.
  • Develop local market insights, set market-backed pricing, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Act as account manager for key and/or global accounts within the Life Science market.
  • Collaborate closely with other Sales Directors, City Executives, and sector teams across Arcadis to maximize cross-selling and integrated solutions.
  • Actively participate in industry initiatives such as ISPE country affiliate and support global key account pursuits.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Significant experience in market-to-opportunity, pursuit-to-win, and client management within a multinational engineering or professional services firm.
  • Proven leadership in sales within the Life Sciences sector, with a strong local presence and network.
  • Demonstrated track record in defining and executing commercial strategies for optimal client outcomes.
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial drive and decisiveness.
  • Ability to inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams toward shared goals.
  • Breadth of experience working internationally and across business functions.
  • Experience driving innovation, developing new business models, and engaging clients in complex solutions.
  • Digital savviness and a learning mindset; able to foster curiosity, drive success, and ignite team passion.
