ISPE Ireland Affiliate Seminars

DPS recently attended the ISPE Ireland Affiliate Seminars which were held in Little Island, Cork on the 14th April. Following the seminars the ISPE hosted their annual Gala Dinner.

The two seminars on the day were ‘Project Delivery Strategies’ and ‘GAMP CoP’.

"Project Delivery Strategies – There’s More Than One Way" covered developments in the procurement of manufacturing facilities, biotech project cost reduction, innovative supply solutions, vendor case studies and learning from non-pharma.

The GAMP CoP seminar speakers gave an insight into the challenges of GxP computerised systems deployment within medical devices manufacturing, data integrity challenges and experiences, regulatory intelligence. Topics also covered were:

The deployment of an "Ongoing Continued Process Verification" (OCPV) business and IT strategy
Maintaining, sustaining, and using data to Create Knowledge (benefitting patient and business)
Quality Metrics update
GxP applications in the Cloud
