DPS Advanced Technology Group is seeking a certified Last Planner System Manager & Trainer. This is a dedicated role for the client and Last Planner SME for the project. The Last Planner System Manager & Trainer will identify areas that impact the trades, projects, and work with the relevant stakeholders to remove these impacts. The Last Planner System Manager & Trainer will have a background in installation activities and should be experienced enough to challenge the Pull Plan and Weekly work Plans provided by the trades. The successful candidate will schedule, organise, and facilitate the Last Planner process flow as outlined by the Last Planner System for the Tool Install project.

Position summary:
DPS Advanced Technology Group is seeking a certified Last Planner® System Manager & Trainer. This is a dedicated role for the client and Last Planner® SME for the project. The Last Planner® System Manager & Trainer will identify area’s that impact the trades, projects, and work with the relevant stakeholders to remove these impacts. The Last Planner® System Manager & Trainer will have a background in installation activities and should be experienced enough to challenge the Pull Plan and Weekly work Plans provided by the trades. The successful candidate will schedule, organise, and facilitate the Last Planner® process flow as outlined by the Last Planner® System for the Tool Install project.

Key responsibilities:
Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for the project on Last Planner® including integration with P6 and All-In-One.
  • Set up KPI’s and oversee implementation of management KPI based reviews and improvement processes.
  • Pull Plan Facilitator/Coach.
  • Make Ready Planning.
  • Constraint Management - Identification, ownership, and commitment to close.
  • Facilitate Trade Weekly Work Plan collaboration.
  • Daily Huddle facilitator.
  • Percentage Planned Complete (PPC) tracking & improvement.
  • Drive Productivity Improvement, Identify and remove waste- Utiliz286611.864745ing Lean principles.
  • Last Planner® Train the Practitioner.
  • Trade/Client collaborator
  • Last Planner progress reporting
  • The Last Planner® System Manager & Trainer will monitor and report on the implementation and progress of the Last Planner implementation within the PIT.
  • Percentage Plan Completed progress.
  • Constraint identification and removal success.
  • Variance identification and pareto of issues.
  • Identify, develop, manage and drive Last Planner® continuous improvement.
  • Provide the Trainee with a foundation in the Last Planner® System application to the project and schedule adherence in line with Client requirements.
  • The Last Planner® System Manager & Trainer will work with the PIT lead and Trades reps to determine any additional training or coaching required to improve the implementation of the Last Planner process within the PIT.
Education & experience:
  • Certified in LPS with proven record of training and coaching teams in LPS.
  • Experience in setting up LPS within project developing pull plans and Weekly Work Plans.
  • Experience with trade coordination to review pull plan deliverables.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Last Planner® System, and how to coordinate workable back log into the Pull Plan.
  • 15 years construction experience.
  • >5 years of LPS and Pull Plan experience.
  • 5-10 years Tool Install experience as a trade installer or project manager.
Essential skills:
Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills
Organisational skills and attention to detail
Solid knowledge of MS Word and Excel as well as CRMs Can do attitude

Other:
This will be a fully Remote role prior to travel to client Malaysia site. Penang, Malaysia site-based role with visa sponsorship provided for this position.

Travel:
Occasional travel to other client sites as per business needs.

Working hours:
40 hours, Monday to Friday
