Position Title: Project Design Coordinator - Location: Leiden - Reports to: Operations Director
Position summary: Coordination of technical disciplines on project(s).
Key responsibilities:
Provides technical support to Project Manager;
Ensures effective coordination between technical disciplines on project management (internal and externals disciplines: Process, HVAC-Mechanical, E&I, Automation, Architectural, Civil-Structural);
Organises and chairs technical coordination meetings on project(s);
Schedules and executes project stage design reviews;
Coordinates with client counterpart;
Ensures that (internal) discipline design reviews take place;
Schedules and executes multi-discipline design reviews;
Takes part in and contributes to lesson learned sessions;
Ensures compliance with all relevant DPS procedures;
Ensures compliance with all relevant client procedures and standards;
Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, national or international.
Education & experience:
3rd Level Engineering or other relevant degree or diploma preferred.
Minimum 8 years relevant experience, ideally on pharmaceutical projects.
Experience of working in a busy, diverse engineering design office.

Travel: level of travel 20% depending on project location.
