Position Title: Document Controller - Location: Leiden  - Reports to: Discipline Manager

Our Main market sectors are; Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology, Medical Technologies, Oil and Gas.

Summary:

DPS is currently looking for a Document Controller, who plays a key role in the delivery of DPS’s multi-disciplinary projects. The Document Controller is responsible for ensuring all documentation and drawings are up to date and at the correct revision, also support project personnel with all aspects of Document Control.

The successful applicant will gain experience in a busy design & project management office by working closely with colleagues in our technical teams and other internal DPS departments to deliver on projects for our clients. Our clients are primarily in the Pharmaceutical sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Master Document Register management (MDR) (keeping track of project documentation – design doc, vendor and contractor docs and drawings);
  • Creating reports and overviews;
  • Procedural (quality and safety) gatekeeping;
  • Guarding documentation safety and back up;
  • Performing data entry tasks;
  • Printing out/distributing/expediting project documents documentation to multiple stakeholders;
  • Good RACI* Matrix management as needed (*roles & responsibility matrix);
  • Managing electronic document management system (DPS/Client/Partners);
  • Ad-hock admin tasks and responsibilities;
  • Support all document flow needs for engineering design disciplines, Project Management and Validation Departments.

Skills & experience required:

  • Minimal 2 years of solid experience in a similar role, especially on construction site;
  • Ability to prioritiz617328.678061e and manage time well;
  • Good organiz617328.678061ational and admin skills;
  • Strong computer literacy - Microsoft Word and Excel ;
  • Trouble-shooter, attention to details;
  • Able to work under pressure at times and to stringent deadlines;
  • Strong communication and customer service skills (regular communication required with multiple internal and external stakeholders (DPS Team, client, vendors, contractors);
  • Confident to say “no”.
