DPS Group Global is a leading Project Management and Engineering Company serving the construction industry around the world for over 40 years. Within DPS, the Software Services Group (SSG) is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of several semiconductor Construction Project Management software applications.  The software provides scheduling and project management solutions across key phases of these construction projects. Project spends can be up to €8bn with individual project life cycles of up to 5 years.

Position summary:

Using any Az305086.697931ure technologies, the SRE will support the development team through DevOps and improve site reliability on Production systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and support development pipelines for various software solutions in Az305086.697931ure.
• Build & support Az305086.697931ure environments from Development through Testing, Staging & Production.
• Build & maintain Monitors & Alerts for production software.
• Advise on - and produce documentation for - SOPs including disaster recovery scenarios.
• Continually improve the processes and technology used in the organiz305086.697931ation.

Education & experience:

• Primary Degree in IT or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years direct working knowledge of Microsoft Az305086.697931ure.
• Minimum 2+ years direct working knowledge of monitoring and maintaining production environments in Az305086.697931ure.
• Minimum 2+ years direct working knowledge of Kubernetes/AKS
• Minimum 2+ years direct working knowledge of development pipelines in Az305086.697931ure.

Additional key experience requirements:

• Building & maintaining containers for use as deployment images.
• Running post incident reviews
• Capable of clear communication and documentation.
• Helping Support & IT to triage production issues in our software and underlying infrastructure.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
• Proven history of working with systems with the above skills/attributes
