To support our ongoing Digital Transformation, we have an excellent opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Support Lead who will have responsibility for DPS Group IT infrastructure in its USA offices and will work closely with the infrastructure team based in Europe.

 

This role will be based at our Framingham Office, and some travel may be required to other global DPS locations (travel required – 10-15%).

 

This is a days-based role but may involve weekend working or irregular hours dependent on business needs.

 

 

Summary Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for the overall system and infrastructure availability in the USA
  • Responsible for day to day system administration, including management of LAN/WAN, server infrastructure and system backups in the USA
  • Monitoring business-critical processes and systems
  • Hyper V support and administration
  • Storage management
  • Configuration and Installation of network infrastructure including servers in new and existing offices
  • Plan and implement upgrades needed to maintain service levels
  • Develop and lead the replacement of infrastructure at the end of life
  • Maintain and improve server and network performance, reliability and security
  • Preparation and testing of Disaster Recovery procedures
  • Direct involvement in incidents and problems that cause service impact and act as an escalation point for incidents not being resolved in a timely manner
  • Work with the Infrastructure team to establish standards and best practices for managing server and network infrastructure
  • Providing Technical support and guidance to Desktop support team
  • Work with the Desktop support team to set SLA criteria for the availability and performance of IT infrastructure

 

Our Requirements

 

Education / Qualifications

  • Degree in IT
  • MCSE or equivalent Level
  • CompTIA Network+ or CCNP

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years experience supporting IT Infrastructure
  • Expert working knowledge of Hyper V and Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Good working knowledge of the following: Office 365 Administration | Powershell scripting | SCMM & Intune | VM Ware
  • Good working knowledge of network technologies and concepts, IT Security, and Data Protection.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively across a broad spectrum of users
