DPS has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious Recruitment Specialist to work out of our multidiscipline contract services operation in Singapore. Our Contract Services operation has a successful track record of customizing our services to deliver sector-specific technical expertise to life sciences and advanced technology customers in Singapore. We build integrated solutions tailored to client’s specific needs, which includes providing individual resources and delivering flexible solutions through diverse scope of work. The Recruitment Specialist will drive full lifecycle recruiting to meet the talent needs of the business and exercise judgment for engagement, screening, placement and management of candidates at our Client sites using broadly defined practices and policies under minimal supervision. While this position will recruit for a variety of positions, there is a particular emphasis on technical recruiting for the Life Sciences and Semiconductor Industries. Examples of disciplines to be engaged will include but are not limited to: Process Engineers, Project Engineers, Project Schedulers, CQV Engineers, Electrical Engineer, I&C Engineers, Automation Engineers, Mechanical Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Project Controls Engineers, etc. This position will be expected to work in our Singapore office located at International Business Park.

Job Scope:
• Partner and liaise with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs
• Use the most efficient, cost-effective candidate sources to fill positions, including, but not limited to: searches and posting using various career posting websites such as LinkedIn, DPS Careers Website, DPS database, referrals from existing DPS Operations and Staff Augmentation personnel, participation in job fairs and industry conferences/users’ groups, direct sourcing and other network referrals.
• Develop the job description for the requirement receive from clients.
• Screen applications and shortlist qualified candidates for diverse technical roles.
• Formatting the candidate profiles into DPS Format for submission to clients.
• Manage the interview process with Candidates and in coordination with hiring manager.
• Prepare Quotation Letter to Clients.
• Propose remuneration packages and manage employment offers to selected candidates.
• Prepare the Letter of Appointment to selected candidates.
• Manage candidates through the entire recruitment cycle, from candidate screening to final placement and on-going maintenance of personal records.
• Maintaining the DPS Client and candidate database to ensure the information is readily accessible and up-to-date.
• Actively manage existing candidate and Client relationships through personal communication and regular reporting.
• Identify, communicate and use cost-effective alternative sources to identify candidates where possible.
• Application/cancelation of work passes for expat candidates.
• Upkeep HR documentation and employee database.
• Conduct Induction Training for new staff.
• Participate and support the business proposal and tendering submission.
• Support special projects and other tasks as required such as office management etc.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or institution, preferably with an Engineering or Human Resource or Technical Recruitment Qualification.
• A strong recruitment background with minimum 3 years of experience in recruiting for a variety of technical and engineering positions.
• Knowledge on Singapore labour legislation.
• Experience in managing volume recruitment drives and rapid ramp up.
• Knowledge and/or experience in the biopharmaceutical, medical device and semiconductor sectors.
• Comfortable with managing the whole recruitment process from role briefings to offer creation, negotiation, and closure.
• Must be highly motivated, responsive to change, pro-active, strong decision-maker and willing to take on new challenges.
• Ability to place candidates throughout the various biopharmaceutical and microelectronics/ semiconductor sectors, as necessary.
• Results-oriented and customer-focused.
• Team Player with strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels and across diverse cultures
• Must possess strong writing and communication skills, outstanding presentation and negotiating skills.
• He/she will be expected to work within a team environment and have a desire to succeed and achieve agreed company targets.
