Key Responsibilities

  • Organiz552371.685185e, assign, and delegate necessary engineering and design tasks to produce construction documents in conjunction with a team of engineers and designers.
  • Manage scope, budget, and schedule to meet project goals.
  • Coordinate and collaborate real time with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, architectural and process to develop designs.
  • Independently lead plant design activities as an area/system leader and coordinate with multi-discipline designers.
  • Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Responsible for detailed design of structures in steel, concrete and masonry in accordance with US, BS, EN, and International codes.
  • Using a wide range of design software, backed up by hand calculation.
  • Liaison with REVIT & CAD technicians to produce quality design deliverables.
  • Exercise judgment in developing plans or alternatives and work with teams to assure quality plans.
  • Perform field activities such as observation of construction activities.
  • Review construction submittals for conformance with the intent of contract and design documents.
  • Have experience interacting with process and piping teams to implement pipe stress coordination.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification of Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related Engineering field. Professional Engineer (P.E./S.E.) license is required, or on track to obtain license in near future.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience performing tool install engineering design preferred. Alternatively, semiconductor facilities systems design will be considered if less than above mentioned request.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and applicable engineering and structural design software. Experience using REVIT in a BIM environment desirable.
  • Strong relevant engineering/design experience in industrial/advanced technology sector.
  • Excellent English level - written and spoken.
  • Design experience in reinforced concrete, steelwork, masonry.
  • A proactive approach to solving problems with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
  • Knowledge of the standard codes of practice – US, BS, EN, and International Codes, including seismic analysis ad design.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with English proficiency. Proven leadership skills, with a view to managing people.
  • Ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels, and be able to work with remote teams in different times z552371.685185ones and geography.
  • Local candidates preferred. Will entertain relocation for candidates with directly related experience.
