Document Management Administrator

DPS have a requirement for a Document Management Administrator with a Dublin based Pharmaceutical client.

Role responsibilities:

  • Control and management of all controlled document lifecycles via EDMS application. 
  • Understand documentation requirements and ensure effective resolution of document system queries or requests.
  • Running of day-to-day tasks for document management workload 
  • Management of the Document Management Library & associated databases.
  • Maintaining the company SharePoint Intranet Site.
  • Collaborate with project teams to support document control requirements for site wide projects.
  • Disaster Recovery for QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) Documents (outsourced scanning).
  • Record Retention - ensure there is a facility for archiving of quality & business critical documentation.
  • To provide support and training to staff on the site documentation system.
  • Development of the Document Management function as directed by the Team Leader Document Management.
  • Periodic review of Document Management related GMP Documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards associated with cGMP including data integrity, ISO 14001, OHSAS19001, Health & Safety Legislation, Environmental Legislation, and also all site standards, policies, and procedures. 

Role requirements:

  • Minimum requirement: 2-3 years experience in Document Control Role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Adobe Pro
  • Experience in the use of EDMS (electronic document management system) and SharePoint (web design) , would be an advantage
  • Experience with scanning documents and online database systems desirable 
  • Well organised, self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritiz221087.703118e, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot.
  • Experience in dealing with multidiscipline teams, subcontractors and a wide customer base.
