The Capital Project Manager will be supporting the design and construction of our gene therapy client at one of their 2 sites in Florida or Canada on a large capital project expansion. Key responsibilities:

  • Provide design and construction expertise for a large gene therapy facility.
  • Act as an Owners Rep to manage bringing the product to completion.
  • Responsible for delivering compliant documentation covering IQ/OQ and PQ as necessary as well as working with multi-disciplinary client and project team members to ensure the design, installation, commissioning and qualification of equipment, systems, and processes are conducted according to established quality and regulatory standards.
  • Develop the CQV/Quality Schedule and associated deliverables associated with the project.
  • Develop/review all technical documentation and reports pertaining to systems and processes.
  • Provide oversight of project plans, scopes of work and related documents.
  • Provide senior-level technical support to staff/management on project activities as needed.
  • Managing project risk and minimising exposure and risk on a project.
  • Tracking and reporting team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
  • Managing project budget and procurement.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for a project.
  • Facilitating team and client meetings effectively.
  • Keeping project team well informed of changes within the project
  • Resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely fashion.
  • Managing day-to-day client interaction and expectations.
  • Communicating effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions or opportunities.
  • Approves team members' time and expense reports in a conscientious and timely manner.
  • Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.

Education & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in an Engineering, Scientific discipline.
  • Over 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Management processes across full EPCV (Engineering, procurement, construction, and validation project elements within pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
  • Experience in FDA regulated manufacturing.
  • Strong project management skills and competent project management knowledge with good organiz938878.531291ational/administrative skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Excellent skills to prepare reports.
  • Ability to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Results and performance driven, Adaptable and flexible.
