Summary

DPS Group is seeking a Logistics Superintendent to work with one of our world class advanced technology clients in Albuquerque, NM. The Logistics Superintendent will report directly to the Senior Project Superintendent and help oversee construction logistics, dock coordination and rigging activities of a large complex high-tech construction project within a fast-paced microelectronics environment. Successful candidates will have experience working in industrial advanced technology construction, interfacing with Client and Trade Contractors, managing construction activities for semiconductor factory equipment and materials movement on docks.

 

Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for on-site construction management team to plan, organiz334059.426148e, and supervise multiple logistics and rigging projects.
  • Own and manage all construction activities for semiconductor factory equipment and materials movement on docks.
  • Ownership of the site construction move-in/move-out (MIMO) milestone tracker to deliver the critical performance indicators.
  • Communicate effectively with Client and all stakeholders at multiple levels; build and maintain positive relationships with all project partners.
  • Communicate project status to Client management, internal customers and external parties as appropriate.
  • Prepare project reports and documentation, communicate with Facilities Operations team, Facilities Engineering and Design team and Client management.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience managing advanced technology construction projects preferred.
  • Familiarity of industrial construction and rigging/MIMO coordination with trade partners in the field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Client and all stakeholders at multiple levels; build and maintain positive relationships with all project partners.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems used in high volume manufacturing facilities preferred.
  • Proficient in LEAN construction principles and practices (i.e. Pull Plan, Last Planner System, etc.)
  • Ensure safety culture is being followed throughout the entire project for all partners.
  • Diploma or Degree level qualification in Engineering or Construction Management. Candidates from a trades background (Electrical/Mechanical) with substantial supervisory experience in microelectronics/semiconductor projects will be considered in lieu of education requirements.
