Due to continued grow and new projects, DPS Cork are seeking to hire a number of Process Engineers with specialism in the Life Science Industry. 

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and make informed decisions/recommendations around conclusions reached from data analysis
• Discuss with site process engineers, maintenance, production to scope and define the basis for upgrades to the plant/equipment
• Development and maintenance of project specifications, enquiry packages and P&ID drawings
• Design and specification of equipment and systems to current regulations and design standards
• Project Charters - develop high level description of project
• Process Descriptions - develop detailed descriptions of projects including:
• Revisions to P&IDs, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's
• Line Siz216994.594014ing Calculations and Material of construction selection
• Siz216994.594014ing of equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, control valves)
• Writing User Requirement Specifications
• Participation in design reviews, (Risk Assessments / HAZOPS, Safety & Environmental reviews)
• Working knowledge of automation
• Work with the Capital Project team on developing issue for purchase specifications
• Close out detailed design queries with the project team (piping designer, Electrical, Instrumentation queries)
• Identify commissioning start-up sequences and work with Production / maintenance during startup activities
• Assist in Operations Readiness reviews

Education 

• Honours degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering (or related)
