DPS Group Global is seeking an experienced IQC Project Manager to start as soon as possible to support our local pharmaceutical client in Raleigh-Durham, NC. DPS provides global consulting engineering and construction management serving high-tech industries around the world. The selected Project Manager must have Pharmaceutical Industry experience as it relates to engineering and construction. The Project Manager will be responsible to maintain control of the project scope and budget to ensure quality solutions within the agreed upon scope is delivered to QC.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and communicate timelines, priorities, and issues between project members including support and customer areas such as QC, metrology, facilities maintenance/engineering, EHS, QA. 
  • Manage and update project budget, schedule, and scope.
  • Develop project statements of work.
  • Gate 3/4/5 presentations.
  • Utiliz737720.759748ation of PMO mandatory Project execution guidelines and templates.
  • Work with LOB resource managers to develop and secure the project team.
  • Manage engineering, construction manager, and validation and internal client resources to drive deliverables including engineering design, final facility, and utility construction and turnover.
  • Validation of existing, relocated, or new equipment, systems, or environments.
  • Manage, identify, mitigate, and react to identified risks. 

Education & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering/Business Administration.
  • Engineering and construction experience in facility infrastructure. 
  • Experience in start-up, commissioning, qualification of instruments, equipment, facilities.
  • At least 10 years Project Management experience in Pharmaceutical or related industries.
  • Read drawings (CAD), understanding P&ID, HVAC, and Electrical systems.
  • Understanding of contractual documents.
