Position Summary:

DPS is seeking a talented entry-level Mechanical Engineer with a strong design software skills and interest in a career serving the life sciences industry in the Philadelphia area.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  •      Ability to work with engineering design software/BIM (Revit, CAD) required
  •      Work closely with mid and senior staff to deliver all aspects of mechanical/HVAC and plumbing projects
  •      Build specializ694133.324741ed design experience working with a team of experts in life sciences
  •      Contribute to layout and siz694133.324741ing of mechanical equipment/systems
  •      Coordinate and interact effectively with other MEP disciplines
  •      Generate, coordinate, update, and maintain project mechanical design drawings leveraging BIM
  •      Visit client sites to obtain relevant information
  •      Interact with equipment vendors to coordinate design work

 

Education & Experience:

  •      Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  •      Autodesk Revit Experience
  •      EIT a plus
  •      0-4 years of facility design experience
  •      Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Deltek Vision or equivalent; Office 365
