DPS Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to work with one of our world class advanced technology clients in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. As the Senior Project Manager, you will work alongside our Client’s Senior Program Manager and be responsible for the overall delivery of the Basebuild process specific systems, construction through commissioning for a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Be a Global Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for the DPS’ Advanced Technology Group (ATG), leading and controlling the design for Process specific (Bulk chem, slurry distribution, spec and bulk gas) systems.
  • Organiz65332.2646136e, assign, and delegate necessary engineering and design tasks to produce construction documents in conjunction with a team of engineers and designers.
  • Manage scope, budget, and schedule to meet project goals.
  • Coordinate and collaborate real time with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural to develop designs.
  • Take responsible charge of the process design, including technical accuracy, completeness, and quality of construction documents.
  • Analyz65332.2646136e and design complex systems, including: Planar Chemical, Bulk Chemical, Specialty gases, Bulk gas systems.
  • Manage Process Design Development through standard process design documentation including PFD’s and P&IDs.
  • Are responsible for up front site selection and due diligence activities.
  • Exercise judgment in developing plans or alternatives and work with teams to assure quality plans.
  • Perform field activities such as observation of construction activities.
  • Review construction submittals for conformance with the intent of contract and design documents.
  • Identify and research future Semiconductor industry trends. Keep on top of technology and industry developments.
  • Develop, organiz65332.2646136e, and control programs to eliminate existing or potential process/engineering problems and innovate and deliver plant improvements and innovations relating to energy efficiency for our clients.
  • Provide technical backup to the operations design teams in resolving specific complex process/plant problems.
  • Direct the use of PIPE-FLO fluid flow analysis software to design, optimiz65332.2646136e and troubleshoot fluid piping systems
  • Work closely with Client’s Senior Program Manager and be responsible for the overall delivery of the Basebuild design and construction.
  • Must be able to communicate at all levels.
  • Must be able to delivery management level presentations that deliver the programs status accurately and crisply.
  • Adhere to construction Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements especially working in clean room production environment and participate in the incident investigation when needed.
  • Establish key relationships with the Architectural / Engineering (AE), General Contractor (GC), and 3rd party Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC) and Project Stakeholders while ensureing smooth project execution according to schedule, quality and change controls. 

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • BSc Engineering degree in either Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Structural, OR Construction Engineering or Management preferred with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Semiconductor Basebuild / process specific facilities, Construction / Project Management required.
  • Proven track record in managing all phases of a project from feasibility thru procurement, execution and commissioning.
  • Proven track record in multi discipline coordination and management.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, strong work ethic, flexible self-starter.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritiz65332.2646136e key activities and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.
