Key responsibilities:

From project conception through the details of design and field coordination, you will work with our staff of experts to obtain a practical knowledge and experience unmatched in this exciting industry.

Examples of HVAC installations span the full spectrum from the simplest commercial building “package system” to the most complex high purity manufacturing process. Amongst other activities assigned, you will have the opportunity to apply your engineering expertise on typical duties as:

  • Conceptual design through construction drawing development;
  • Economic & energy analysis;
  • Load calculations, design and layout of equipment, duct and piping systems;
  • Set-up and development of HVAC/Mechanical P&ID’s;
  • Set-up and development of Mechanical pipe routings for black and clean utilities;
  • Application engineering including psychometrics, refrigeration, acoustics, and control systems for HVAC/Mechanical designs;
  • Coordination of design and installation with Project Management, Construction and Service departments;
  • Field engineering: assist with project execution, trade coordination, scheduling, document management and problem solving;
  • Coordination to 3D modelling of HVAC/Mech systems utiliz656785.890201ing the latest modelling software;
  • Writing narratives for concept or BOD input;
  • Actively support a safe work environment.

You will be working under the supervision of the responsible lead engineer(s) for daily work routines, interaction, coordination, fast learning curve, etc. to gain responsibility and experience. Required is strong will to succeed, take responsibility / ownership and project focus.

 

Skills & experience required:

  • A higher Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Minimal Bachelor and preferably Master degree);
  • 5+ years of relevant and successful experience designing HVAC, mechanical and (process) piping designs;
  • Ability to support in and take responsibility and ownership of small parts of the design;
  • Eager to learn and to develop him/herself;
  • Have knowledge in mainly detailing HVAC, mechanical and piping;
  • Have history of successfully preparing designs that include new construction, plant design, as well as documenting process of change and as-built modifications;
  • Skilled in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
  • Good communication skills, especially in coordination and writing;
  • Fluent in English, preferably also German speaker;
  • Familiarity with the use and care of personal safety equipment.
