Responsibilities:

• ACAD operator/technician with experience of drafting P&IDs for process and utility installations. Ideally with experience in using CADWorx P&ID.
• The primary role of the CADWorx coordinator is to configure and customise CADWorx P&ID projects within the operation. 
• The CADWorx coordinator will direct and support CAD personnel within the operation and will ensure that P&IDs are designed in accordance with DPS SOPS, WI's, and CADWorx Guidelines.
• They will be the first point of contact when issues arise with CADWorx P&ID and will escalate issues to Group Engineering as appropriate.
• The CADWorx coordinator will be the point of contact for the development and roll out of system improvements, and will identify areas for improvement to Group Engineering.
• The CADWorx coordinator will ensure that all departments are working with the correct configuration and methodology, and will review the P&ID output to ensure that the smart functionality has been designed and CADded correctly.
• The ultimate duty of the CADWorx coordinator is to ensure that P&ID's are developed in a manner which facilitates the utilisation of smart functionality by Engineering Disciplines.

Key project responsibilities to be undertaken by the CADWorx coordinator include:

• Request project lead sheet from relevant discipline lead or PM.
• Confirm piping standards to be used for the project
• Clone the DPS Template project to the new project’s CADWorx resource folder and rename accordingly
• Use the Project Configuration Excel files to modify the cloned project for the project
• Clone the Template Support folder and modify blocks
• Configure the Project Specific Profiles and Project Specific Shortcuts and ensure all CADWorx Users use same
• Engage with E&I department to determine the required instrument configurations and create a Smart Lead Sheet (SLS) for the project reflecting these requirements
