Process Engineer (Cork)

A new opportunity now exists for a Process Engineer with a minimum five years’ experience in manufacturing areas such as;

  • Production Operations/Unit Operation support (reactions, distillations, crystalliz118831.251277ations, drying, milling etc).
  • Process automation
  • Deviation investigation incl use of root cause analysis tools, etc
  • Equipment/Process Design and capital project delivery.
  • C&Q Preparation and Execution.

 

The successful candidate will have a Process Engineering third level qualification with experience in Process Safety and Quality Compliance aspects of manufacturing and project delivery.

 

  • Batch manufacturing facilities in small molecule / API areas of the site
  • Capital projects related to process optimisation, facility recapitalisation
  • Turnaround (equipment cleaning and setup) activities between manufacturing campaigns

 

Potential activities/responsibilities;

  • Providing engineering support to manufacturing in order to deliver the production schedule
  • Responsible for maintaining rig uptime, troubleshooting and investigating issues as they arise.
  • Planning and preparing for setup activities in support of process start-up
  • Executing various activities required in support of production (e.g. PHR/HAZOP, process calculation/modelling, process safety reviews, etc)
  • Developing and executing C&Q activities associated with rig/process improvement projects.
  • User Rep for small project capital delivery: establishing equipment requirements and facilitating project delivery.

 

The proposed role is primarily in support of manufacturing, however based on the candidate’s experience and production operations knowledge / capability, responsibilities may expand to include process engineering input / ownership for New Product Introductions (NPIs).
