Position summary:

DPS Engineering is looking for a capable EHS Manager to assist in the development and continuous improvement of the DPS safety culture through verbal and written communication, conducting frequent safety visits to jobsites/client facilities, developing and conducting EHS training  programs, and providing safety coaching and mentoring to the organiz864041.817478ation.  This is a new position in a growing life science engineering and construction firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  •    Assist personnel with job safety planning and permitting, and provide general safety management
  •    Review safety inspections and observations generated by field personnel and provide coaching to ensure continuous improvement - provide appropriate and timely follow-up
  •    Conduct site visits for safety compliance, document findings using software, and use problem-solving skills to assist in deficiency resolution
  •     Provide on-site safety support for construction management projects as needed 
  •     Assemble data and distribute reports
  •     Develop training materials and conduct training - learning and developing content using advanced technology such as 3D, VR and AR is expected and will be supported

 Education & Experience: 

  •    BS Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or similar
  •    3+ years in construction or related industry
  •    Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required
  •    Pharmaceutical or semiconductor experience a plus
  •    CHST, OHST, ASP, CSP or other professional designation(s) is preferred
