Position Summary:

DPS Engineering is looking for a capable Senior Project Manager. A successful candidate must have a strong design discipline background along with experience managing architectural and engineering/design projects in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical industries. This position reports directly to the Director of Project Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  •    Establish project budgets, prepare proposals, and develop and maintain client relationships
  •    Develop and maintain project resource plans
  •    Develop project execution plans including definition of scope, schedule, communication tools, software tools and deliverable distribution lists
  •    Collaborate with the regional quality manager in the development of project specific quality plans
  •    Properly identify and assess project risks and escalate to senior leadership as appropriate
  •    Create and meet all project milestones and financial commitments

Requirements:

  •    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or architecture
  •    Minimum of 10 years in the Life Sciences industry with a minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience
  •    Experience in the design of biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and laboratories
  •    Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional, multi-discipline teams
  •    Proficiency in standard PM tools and templates including MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
