Position Summary:

DPS Engineering is looking for a capable CQV Engineer to work on various client projects from concept through to completion. The Engineer will be responsible for the execution of key CQV deliverables as part of the multi-disciplinary project teams and will interface between their discipline, the client and other disciplines in line with the project scope, schedule, budgeted hours and acceptable quality. The CQV Engineer will act as the discipline technical point of contact on projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  •    Responsible for the timely delivery of all discipline deliverables within quality, budget and safety targets
  •    Communicate change control for their discipline and impacted stakeholders
  •    Report work status to discipline and project managers
  •    Interface with client and other disciplines on projects
  •    Proficient in industry guidelines and current regulatory requirements - understanding specific implementation of these regulations at each client site
  •    Work with discipline and project managers on escalated issues
  •    Work with DPS, client and contract resources to ensure site/project standards are met
  •    Review and approvals of deliverables. CQV activities as project needs dictate
  •    Assist in training and development of junior engineers
  •    Ensure consistent usage of DPS standards, templates and systems
  •    Support business development activities through participation in client presentation meetings, etc.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  •    BS (MS preferred), in Industrial, Process or Chemical Engineering
  •    Experience working in a multi-disciplinary design office or equivalent client team
  •    Demonstrated CQV experience in design consultancy and/or client-site environments
  •    0-5 years of relevant and successful experience
  •    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  •    Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  •    Excellent analytic, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  •    Advanced time management and organiz805724.317483ational skills
  •    Leadership skills, with a view to managing people
  •    Results and internal customer-oriented, strong communication skills

 

Other:

  •    40 hours, Monday to Friday
