Summary

DPS Group is looking for an (AMHS) Junior Project Manager/Installation Coordinator to join our Advanced Technology team in Hillsboro, OR. In this role you will manage AMHS system installation schedule and progress performance, and coordinate with customer and other stakeholders on-site Responsible for monitoring the installation teams’ adherence to the project schedule, listing and maintaining milestone dates, system requirements, inventory records and material movement and spare shortages. Previous experience supporting high-tech construction projects, specifically semiconductor AMHS is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for project execution and deliverables including assuring a safe, quality and on-time installation. Supervise personnel at site when requested.
• Read and understand project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Prepare installation working plan and schedule.
• Manage installation site management documents including organiz788854.278058ational chart and contact information.
• Manage all logistics activities including reporting, receiving, moving, and shipping not only domestic, but also international.
• Identify project risk to safety, quality, and schedule.
• Manage contractor project teams. Provide advice and guidance to team members.
• Assure creation and adherence to installation site safety procedures.
• Coordinate and direct installation resource plans at site to meet project requirements.
• Manage installation quality plan and document control plan for projects.
• Liaison with customer for all installation related activities. Manage communication with project stakeholders when requested.
• Manage project changes, take corrective action, and update project plans and documentation.
• Help facilitate project acceptance and handover by completing all installation paperwork.
• Coordinate system hand-over with the customer and service department.
• Use KPI to monitor performance and identify area to address and be able to extract data and use it for analysis.
• Provide assistance to Site Manager when he/she is on-site and take responsibilities while he/she is off site and/or requested.

Skills & Qualifications

• Associates degree (AS) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of semiconductor automation experience; or equivalent education and experience.
• Site/Project Management skills; Mechanical/Electrical background; Ability to use unique tools applicable to installation.
• Familiarity with automatic system (Stocker, Conveyors, AGV’s and/or OHT systems) is a plus but not required. 
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs (including Excel and MS Project).
• Ability to read and understand equipment drawings and identify parts through drawings, Safety oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have excellent organiz788854.278058ation, customer relation skills.
• Ability to work on ladders and with heights. 
• Ability to demonstrate/facilitate problem solving on issues with multiple stakeholders.
• Must be local or willing to relocate, no per diem offered.
• Acceptable controlled substance testing and background check results are required for all assigned personnel, along with valid work authoriz788854.278058ation for US employment prior to starting work.
