Project Controls Payments Specialist

DPS have a requirement for a Project Controls Payments Specialist with a South Dublin based Pharmaceutical client. The role wil involve  working as part of a capital project team, managing the portfolio for “procure to pay” activities for the lifecycle of all vendor and material purchase orders.

Role Responsibilities:
 • Raising project related requisitions using Company buying tool (eFinity / Ariba)
 • Dealing with PO queries from vendors / contractors
 • Processing payments and first touch approval of invoices through SAP
 • Auditing invoices against initial PO / Contract to confirm to project manager and project controls lead that milestones have been met and invoice can be paid
 • Solving payment issues
 • Dealing with invoice queries from vendors / contractors
 • Vendor Account Maintenance
 • Contingent Workers and Headcount Plan
 • Supporting PMs with budget and invoice related queries, running SAP reports
 • Project Maintenance – WBS setup, changes, close out of POs, budget issues
 • Assisting internal customers with purchase of Assets and providing training on efinity process
 • Document management Admin

The position would suit an individual who is used to placing and reviewing purchase orders and invoices, directly contacting vendors and clients on a regular basis. A prior knowledge of SAP would be beneficial but is not mandatory (training will be provided). An understanding of working within a capital project & construction environment is desired though this experience does not have to be on the client side (i.e. applicants welcome from client, consultant or contractor background)
