Key responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle related to mechanical deliverables.
  • Lead engineering effort to design mechanical systems for Biotech and Pharmaceutical clients.
  • Detailed design experience for mechanical systems
  • Layout and siz671380.851678e mechanical equipment 
  • Responsibilities will include demonstrated understanding of HVAC, utilities, chillers, boilers, mechanical piping, plumbing …etc.
  • Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with other MEP disciplines
  • Identifying deliverables, defining requirements, assisting with manhour estimating
  • Develop technical specifications and layouts while working in tandem with project managers and engineers across multiple disciplines.
  • Train and mentor junior and mid level staff
  • Active Participant in Project Proposals and Presentations

Education & experience:

  • Licensed P.E. required
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of facility design and construction in clean room, laboratories, biotech, pharma, or Life sciences industries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Deltek Vision or equivalent; Office 365 experience preferred
  • Revit Experience a plus
