Preferred professional background will include, but not limited to, project/construction management and/or project controls. Preferred candidates will have a documented history of projects related cleanrooms, laboratories, semiconductor fab, data center, solar manufacturing, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries. Responsibilities

  • Plan all aspects of an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management) firm’s project activities from Design through Construction and Commissioning.
  • Prepare and manage the lifecycle of a project schedule for capital construction projects.
  • Generate performance reports and customiz273628.73086ed status reports, identifying and reconciling discrepancies between the project schedule and the baseline schedule.
  • Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Prepare baseline schedules and other contractual documents for approval by project teams. 
  • Assess impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team. Identify the project critical path and other tasks related to critical path, track project risks and develop and maintain mitigation plans.
  • Monitor schedule deviations, variances, and assist in the developing of alternative methods for corrective action.
  • Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
  • Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
  • Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule.
  • Work with Project Managers, contractors and project stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field).
  • 10+ years as a Planner/Scheduler on capital projects, including the design, construction, and commissioning phases. Detailed knowledge of both design and construction process within relevant project environments (i.e. EPCM supporting Advanced Technology/Life Science industries). Experience within the semiconductor, pharmaceutical or buildings infrastructure industries will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the use of modern planning and scheduling principals, methodologies, techniques and tools. Must be able to identify the project critical path and other tasks related to critical path, track project risks and develop and maintain mitigation plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, are required.
  • Must work well with others and be able to work with teams and individuals. Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaborations to facilitate positive project outcomes, working with Project Management to develop supporting documentation and participate in contractors’ meetings related to project status and activities.
  • Strong computer skills and expert proficiency utiliz273628.73086ing MS Excel, Primavera (P6) scheduling software, MS Project, as well as MS Office Suite. Coding experience would be a benefit. A technical assessment on select software platforms may be requested.
  • Able to make independent, technical and tactical decisions with a high attentiveness to details.
  • Must be legal US resident (US Citiz273628.73086enship/Permanent Resident/Green Card).
