Summary

We are looking for Operations Manager to join the Philadelphia Projects Operation.  This is a crucial leadership role within the Philadelphia operation, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Project Operations. This position will play a key role in helping to start and run the local office.

Responsibilities

Lead conduit between Finance/Accounting and the local Business Unit
Assisting SVP with weekly, monthly, and annual operation reporting
Continuous Monitoring and Reporting of Overall Operational Health (Projects, Actuals vs. Projections, forecasts, growth, revenue, and opportunities
Assistance with strategy for project pursuits and proposal preparation
Direct Manager for local office manager, project administrators, and quality resource
Key resource for on boarding of new hires

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
7+ years of experience in a professional services consulting firm with project operations experience
Previous responsibility for reporting Profit/Loss on projects or teams/offices
Strong Understanding of AEC Accounting and Finance
A/E/C industry experience, Life Sciences experience a strong plus
Management Courses or Certification a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Deltek Vision or equivalent; Office 365 experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Advanced graphics, document layout, writing, editing and quality assurance skills
Works independently upon receiving general direction
Supervises employees and/or assignments in accordance with company culture and policies
Ability to inspire teams, develop relationships with co-workers and direct reports, to meet internal deadlines
Positive attitude, even when under pressure
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative and productive work style
Flexible and willing to assist with multiple tasks

Travel: 0 – 20% travel
Working hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday with flexible work environment
