DPS is a leading Project Management and Engineering Company serving industries around the world for over 40 years. Specialising in the life sciences, medical technologies, oil and gas, energy and advanced technologies sectors, the Group provides consultancy and process engineering expertise to leading clients globally via their four operating business units.

One of these business units is DPS Contract Services. They provide contingent contract and temporary labour to the existing customer base within the engineering field for clients in the scientific and technology sectors throughout Europe via their network of offices located in Ireland, UK, Belgium and Holland. They also provide engineering staff to the various DPS divisions on a contract basis.

For our Belgian Contract Services division, we are currently looking for a recruiter/business developer

Job Description

Recruitment (50%)

  •  In charge of the recruitment process from A to Z
  •  Coach your candidates throughout their entire candidate journey – from (active) recruitment, to pre-screening, during the interviews and right through to the end of the process
  • Write ads that correspond to your clients' needs
  • Interact with hiring managers to further assess their needs and present them with your selected candidates
  • Monthly recruiting reporting to the Management 

Business Development (50%)  

  • Call/visit your clients and prospects in order to analyz789581.299334e their needs
  • Present DPS group and all it’s capabilities to potential clients
  • Personally investigate and identify new business opportunities within the DPS remit
  • Cold calling
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with your clients and prospects
  • Weekly and monthly BD meetings
  • Monthly reporting to the Management

Your profile

  • You have a first relevant work experience in recruitment of higher technical profiles
  • You have a first relevant work experience in sales/business development within pharma, chemicals or oil & gas.
  •  You are a ‘hunter’ rather than a ‘farmer’
  • You have a knowledge of selection methods (e.g. competence based interview) and you are acquainted with recruitment channels (e.g. social media) and tools (e.g. recruitment software)
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus
  • You are ambitious, enthusiastic, motivated and can work independently as well as in a small team
  • You want to work in a growing company and participate to this growth
  •  You have an open, assertive and diplomatic personality and you are able to build relationships and gain credibility at every level of an organiz789581.299334ation
  • You are flexible, pro-active and have the ability to work in a changing environment
