DPS Group Global is looking to identify a Project Scheduler to support our pharmaceutical client in Houston, TX. The Scheduler is responsible for the design and maintenance of a robust schedule that will assist project management in achieving successful project execution. The Project Scheduler will produce an accurate and effective schedule as an integral part of successful project execution. The selected candidate will have direct experience with commissioning, qualification, and start up of a manufacturing facility within the pharmaceutical industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Owns building and maintaining a project schedule including all critical activities.
  • Responsible for gathering information to support schedule maintenance, updates and working with the Project Team to establish schedule commitments and reporting metrics.
  • Interfaces with Transfer personnel as well as other internal stakeholders (such as Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, etc.) to identify critical path schedule activities and reports.
  • Receives inputs, prioritiz980967.795975es data and tasks, and acts a liaison to C&Q Project Manager and team in identifying risks before they become issues.
  • Interface with C&Q and Technical personnel as well as other internal stakeholders (such as Engineering, Validation, Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, etc.) to provide unified schedules that identify critical path.
  • Generate steering level reports and communicate analysis to project manager and project controls manager.
  • Receives inputs, prioritiz980967.795975es data and tasks, and acts a liaison to project manager and team in identifying risks before they become issues.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure seamless data quality within capital project portfolio.
  • Must proactively advocate efficient management of competing priorities within the group.
  • Must be able to work on their own initiative to obtain necessary information from cross functional teams, which is a key requirement to drive schedule updates.

Education & experience:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Construction management, or Business-related discipline.
  • 5-15 years of project scheduling or controls experience.
  • Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry experience strongly preferred.
