Summary

Responsibilities

 

  • Review design package weekly; Review email notifications from Document Control for package milestones; Update database with milestone dates.
  • Pull design packages, review scope, allocate and transmit to Trade contractors.
  • Receive Trade pricing submittal and send to Client Cost Engineering team for review, providing any recommendations needed before change order is issued.
  • Compile Client change order and submit.
  • Hold weekly meeting to review deadlines/milestones with Trades, help needed, hot topics, etc.
  • Follow up with Trades/Client Cost Engineers, Client when deadlines are missed, help mitigate delays.
  • Maintain accurate calendars, meetings, tracking sheets and other tools as directed.
  • Accurately input information into Risk and Decision logs as directed.
  • Work under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
  • Build strong partnerships with the team to understand the needs of the projects.

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • 3-5 years experience supporting Cost Engineering, Procurement and Supply Chain functionality for commercial/industrial construction projects preferred. Advanced technology sector experience a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with high attention to detail and organiz798587.773952ational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter, both independently and with a team.
  • Diploma or Degree level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business preferred. Relevant work experience directly related will be considered in lieu of formal education.
