Summary

The Procurement Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing a local team of Coordinators and Specialists and report directly to the DPS Global Supply Chain Manager in support of large high-tech construction projects. Successful candidates will have advanced MS Excel skills, previous management experience within Procurement and Supply Chain functions. Support of large scale EPCM projects for advanced technology manufacturing facilities is ideal.

 

Responsibilities

The Procurement Team Lead is responsible for managing a local supply chain team.

  • Coordination between project team, suppliers, commodity managers to ensure material delivery on time to meet project needs.
  • Preparation of forecasts for importers and manufacturers, and diligent tracking of lead time.
  • Report and manage costs on a live basis to ensure cost control on large-scale projects.
  • Manage development and execution of construction related contracts with emphasis towards materials and equipment.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in Procurement, Supply Chain and Construction.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Previous experience managing a team of up to 5 is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field preferred.
