Role Profile – Director Contract Services Belgium

 

Reporting to the CS Managing Director, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years business development/operations management experience gained at a senior level.

The person will have considerable knowledge of the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sectors in Belgium.

This position will particularly suit a career focused candidate who can work on their own initiative within a regulated industry, and who is energised by working within a busy, expanding technical environment.

DPS Contract Services provide contingent contract and temporary labour to both the existing customer base within the engineering field for clients in the scientific and technology sectors throughout Europe via their network of offices located in Ireland, UK, Belgium and Holland. They also provide engineering staff to the various DPS divisions on a contract basis.

 

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Develop and implement strategy for the growth and profitability of the Belgium CS location

Assume full P&L responsibility for the Belgium CS operation

Provide operational management for location recruitment activities, including the person management of a team of Consultants, Recruiters and Sales Support staff

Personally investigate and identify new business opportunities within the DPS remit

Ensure the provision of a ‘best in class’ service provision to existing customers

Ensure that the contingent workforce is managed within best practice and to legislative requirements

Compile and provide detailed Management Information and Summary Reports as required

Negotiate commercial contracts with current and prospective customers

 

Key Experience

Strong business development and operations management background

Experience and knowledge of key account management

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong team player

Commercially astute with a demonstrable track record in their respective discipline

Thrives within a fast paced and target driven environment

Knowledge of and/or experience in the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sectors is a distinct advantage
