The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 5 years’ experience developing and implementing electrical and special systems design while coordinating with internal architects and process, mechanical, and I and C engineers. Project experience in Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Laboratories and/or commercial applications is preferred. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and understand the work and needs of other disciplines. A successful candidate shall possess the skills required to successfully schedule projects, understand the sequencing of engineering activities, and be a collaborative team player. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle related to electrical deliverables.
  • Work directly with lead engineers to design electrical systems for Biotech and Pharmaceutical clients.
  • Detailed design experience for electrical systems.
  • Layout and siz956594.798055e electrical equipment on floor plans.
  • Responsibilities will likely include demonstrated understanding of switchgear design, low, medium, and high voltage, single line diagrams, load lists, etc.
  • Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with other MEP disciplines.
  • Identifying deliverables, defining requirements, creating design drawings.
  • Develop layouts while working in tandem with project managers and engineers across multiple disciplines.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2 to 5 years of facility design and construction experience in clean room, laboratories, biotech, pharma, or life sciences industries.
  • Ability to pass Client background checks.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit is required.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong organiz956594.798055ational, time management and multitasking skills.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Basic working knowledge of National Electric Code is required.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is highly desirable.
  • Some travelling is required.
