Position Summary:

The Document Controller is responsible for ensuring all documentation and drawings are up to date and at the correct revision, also support project personnel with all aspects of Document Control.
The successful applicant will gain experience in a busy design & project management office by working closely with colleagues in our technical teams and other internal DPS departments to deliver on projects for our clients. Our clients are primarily in the Pharmaceutical sector.


Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for version control and filing of all original signed off documentation within the Document Control Department in accordance with current site practices and Quality procedures.
  • Copying / generation of master copies of drawings and any additional copy that may be required.
  • Generating / issuing of documentation to clients using current databases and complying with current procedures in place.
  • Expediting vendor documentation deliverables as required.
  • Liaising with other disciplines to ensure the timely issuing of all project documentation deliverables.
  • Support all document flow needs for engineering design disciplines, Project Management and Validation Departments.


Skills & experience required:

  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Microsoft Access and SAP knowledge an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to work independent and as part of a team.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure at times and to stringent deadlines.
  • Good at multi-tasking.



  • Working hours: 24 - 40 hours, Monday to Friday
