Document Controller (Head Office)

The Document Control Department plays a key role in the delivery of DPS’ multi-disciplinary projects. The Document Controller is responsible for the timely issue of all project documentation, revision control and ensuring adherence to DPS procedures and standards. Management of DPS’ Project Collaboration Workspace is a key function of the role. The Document Controller will also support project personnel with all aspects of Document Control.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up of Project Collaboration Workspace, enabling user accounts and ensuring project teams and 3rd parties have appropriate training. Provide support and troubleshoot user issues.
  • Responsible for version control and filing of all project documentation within the Document Control Department in accordance with current company practices and Quality procedures.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports on project documentation status
  • Carry out quality checks on documentation and distributing according to project matrix
  • Expediting vendor documentation deliverables.
  • Ad hoc duties as required to ensure smooth running of the Doc Control function
  • Liaising with other disciplines to ensure the timely issuing of all project documentation deliverables in keeping with the project schedule.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar role - cGMP experience preferrable
  • Experience in using EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) preferably Asite
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sharepoint. Visio a distinct advantage
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to stringent deadlines.
  • Good at multi-tasking.
