Your position:

Due to expansion, DPS is recruiting for a HVAC / Utilities Engineer to join our office in Leiden. You will be a part of a team of HVAC / Mechanical Engineers who are flexible, progressive and professional. You will be granted a steady workspace at our office Leiden but should be able to visit our (bio-)pharmaceutical clients in case of meetings or commissioning if needed. Our clients will be looking at you to provide them with professional advice, designs and calculations always taking into consideration energy efficiency.

 

Main tasks:

  • Designing of projects within the field of HVAC in cleanrooms (including related utilities) from predesign till commissioning assistance;
  • Providing professional advice based on technical / scientific expertise within the field of HVAC and cleanroom design;
  • managing client expectations into design documents and specifications regarding the tender;
  • Controls engineering in regard to HVAC and utility systems is also part of the job;
  • Interdisciplinary coordination and writing of specifications / basis of design packages.

 

Job requirements:

  • At least a BSc. Mechanical Engineering and preferably in addition a HIT degree;
  • Minimal 3 years’ experience in designing HVAC and related utility systems in cleanrooms;
  • Workable knowledge of 3D REVIT and preferably multiple VABI applications;
  • Workable knowledge of AUTOCAD;
  • Workable knowledge of GMP and validation within the pharmaceutical industry is a strong preference;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both written and verbal.
