Project Manager - Tech Transfer (CMO) 

Project Manager required for Dublin based Pharmaceutical/Biologics client with responsibility for overseeing Tech Transfer of Products to Contract Manufacturers.  The Project Manager (Tech transfer) will be responsible for the project management of the successful transition of the manufacturing of these products from the internal organiz541258.919455ation to the third party manufacturers.  

Role Responsibilities:

  • Single point of contact with the CMO PM – ensures alignment between the Client deliverables and the CMOs internal project plan.
  • Leads the development and approval of the Tech transfer plan and initiates and manages any updates to the plan as required.
  • Puts in place the Communication and governance structures for the project. Both between Client and CMO project teams
  • Manages the Communication and governance structures for the project. Both between Client and CMO project teams.  Ensure all actions are documented and closed out in a timely manner.
  • Develops, manages and accountable for the budget for the project, in line with Client requirements.
  • Plans work and drives coordination, ensuring successful completion of each work stream’s deliverables.
  • Effectively applies good project management methodologies and standards.
  • Develops and meets work stream timeline and milestones using selected PPM tool
  • Identifies risks and issues, and develops backup plan
  • Setup and facilitate work stream meetings as per team Lead guidance
  • Lead positive conflict and issue resolution. Facilitate decision making and development of remediation plans.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Engineering or business administration.
  • A minimum of 5 years leadership experience in project /program management.
  • A minimum of 8+ years working within the Biopharma/ Pharma manufacturing and supply environment.
  • The candidate will have proven decision making ability, strong communication skills and the ability to work well and influence cross functionally.
  • A qualification in project and program management is desired.
  • Strong communication skills

  • Collaborative; strong team-leadership ability
  • Self-aware; comfortable escalating issues to appropriate level
