Summary:

 

The Process Estimator will report directly to the Estimating Manager onsite for an industrial scale high-tech construction project. Successful candidates will have experience supporting all activities in the Estimating life cycle for process systems used in a high-volume microelectronics manufacturing facility, be able to work collaboratively between sales, engineering, and contracts personnel, and have a technical background in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Review and assess inbound tender documentation and requirements to enable production of successful bids.
  • Take ownership in leading tender completion, proposals and quotations through effective communication with key personnel within the engineering and contracts department.
  • Work collaboratively as a key member of the bid team enhancing successful collaboration of the sales, engineering and contracts departments.
  • Verify quantities provided in trade estimates.
  • Break down scope of work into definable tasks.
  • Produce accurate net estimates with full breakdowns for adjudication.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Familiarity of industrial construction estimating life cycle and coordination with sales, engineering, and contracts departments.
  • Knowledge of Process systems used in high-volume manufacturing facilities preferred.
  • Previous experience in Estimating for advanced technology facilities construction projects required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an advanced technology construction environment.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering discipline desirable.
  • Candidates with substantial experience in Estimating for microelectronics/semiconductor construction projects will be considered in lieu of education requirements.
