Position Title: Quality Officer

Key responsibilities:

The Quality Officer will be responsible for working with the Quality department on the administration associated with the controlled documents within the organisation involving maintenance of the register, updating templates, requesting approval and documenting the process.

The Quality officer will be responsible for maintaining the company intranet (reviewing content and updating as required, controlling changes to the intranet)

The Quality officer will be involved in continuous improvement initiatives to develop systems in line with future work practices

Training will be provided on our company templates and the processes for scheduling, prioritising and approving document updates.

The candidate must be able to complete new templates efficiently and be able to meet tight business deadlines.

Education & experience:

Attention to detail is a requirement

Demonstrated experience of working on similar projects/tasks in the past is essential for this role.

Advanced MS Word and Excel skills are needed. PowerPoint and Outlook skills must also be strong.

Excellent time management capabilities: plans, prioritises and organises multiple concurrent tasks to meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to help others.

Self-motivated with the ability to operate without close supervision.

Experience of working in an Engineering, Construction, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or projects based role

This is initially a 12 Month contract role with opportunities for extension.
