DPS is currently looking for a proven Maintenance Mechanic to support a biopharma client in the Framingham, MA area. Ideal candidates should have previous experience supporting clean room and GMP environments and will be expected to recogniz389477.502702e and perform machine adjustments to pharmaceutical equipment, including doing preventive maintenance and making repairs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance of Process and Utility System equipment.
  • Perform assignments in a manner that complies with all client policies and procedures that ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability efforts designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of daily support efforts.
  • Respond to unplanned equipment outage events with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and systems in a time efficient, right-the-first time manner.
  • Collaborate with and oversee contract maintenance teams.
  • Update maintenance databases with progress reports and work documentation.
  • Install and set up new pharmaceutical equipment as required.

 

Education and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience within pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
  • Must have previous gowning and cleanroom experience.
  • Must have previous GMP knowledge and training.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently with moderate supervision.
  • Follow and understand standard operating procedures as outlined. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Ability to read and understand process and instrumentation diagrams is also preferred.
  • Must demonstrate a sense of ownership and be able to multi task assignments with a right the first-time mentality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
