Summary:

 

DPS is looking for an experienced Project Manager with automation knowledge to work with a BioPharma client in the Boston, MA area. This individual will manage an existing automation project team including the design, documentation, implementation, testing, commissioning and validation of a number of automated systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a partner with the automation technical leads as well as with commissioning and validation teams.
  • Identify, mitigate, prioritiz829544.634607e, manage and resolve project issues, constraints, dependencies and risks.
  • Manage project changes to schedule, budget, and scope through change control process.
  • Identify risk areas and critical items that need to be done to keep project on track.
  • Communicate status and issues to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-project teams and ensure that teams are "in sync" in terms of communication, schedules, and issues.
  • Ability to gauge severity of technical issues and facilitate resolutions.
  • Work independently and as part of the wider project team.
  • Establish and meet project team commitments and deadlines.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Bio Engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience as a Technical Project Manager.
  • Experience with Siemens Building Management Systems.
  • Must be a detail-oriented and team-focused person with good project management and coordination skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate via writing and oral communication at all levels. Express ideas effectively in individual and group situations (including non-verbal communication).
