Summary:

 

DPS is looking for a proven and experienced Cost Engineering professional with a strong understanding of the lifecycle related to facility design and construction of biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. This individual would be responsible for the monitoring, reporting and controlling of project costs through all phases of the project including Design, Construction, Commissioning & Qualification, and Facility Certification.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop an effective system of project cost control.
  • Project costs will include design, construction, equipment purchases, 3rd party testing, commissioning and validation.
  • Track, monitor and report on all project costs.
  • Provide regular cost reports – including control budget, actual spend, changes and forecast.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor target and forecast cash flow curves.
  • Review all requests for payment and verify for accuracy and completeness.
  • Review earned value status and productivity with Design Manager, Project Engineer and Construction Manager before approval of payments.
  • Monitor project schedule and adherence to schedule.
  • Perform technical and commercial review of subcontracts and equipment purchases.
  • Facilitate cost review meetings and attend Project Meetings as requested.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with specializ826058.272075ation/experience in Project Management and/or Cost Control.
  • 8+ years of relevant cost control experience on large capital projects.
  • Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting.
  • Knowledge in the use of MS Project, Primavera Scheduling and SAP software is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail are required.
