Project Maintenance Specialist

DPS currently have a requirement for a Project Maintenance Specialist with a Dublin based Pharmaceutical client. The Project Maintenance Specialist is a key role in the Engineering Department to ensure new equipment is integrated into the site maintenance management systems.  The Project Engineering Specialist will represent the Engineering Department on project teams led by the Project Process Engineers who are responsible for leading the introduction of the new equipment and processes to site.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The role will focus on the following aspects of introducing new buildings, equipment and systems to site through large scale capital projects
  • Completing system impact assessment and criticality assessments of new buildings, equipment and systems
  • Complete maintenance appraisals based on best practice, maintenance recommendations from vendors and input from the site Maintenance Dept
  • Setup of new equipment on CMMS
  • Define calibration requirements for new instruments
  • Identify spare parts
  • Setup of maintenance routines, calibration frequencies and spare parts on CMMS
  • Managing drawing system updates to existing drawings and catalogue new drawings
  • Carry out reviews for SOP updates relevant to new equipment and ensure SOP’s are updated to reflect changes with new equipment/systems implemented under capital projects.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Maintenance Planner experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably on an FDA approved site. Experience with CMMS and experience in Operational Excellence at Green Belt level is desirable. 
  • Experience in Change Control Management Systems (e.g. Trackwise) for the management of change within a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint) required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (EU cGMPs, FDA, etc, Part 11) and inspections is desirable.
  • Proven team work and leadership skills, with strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, self-motivated and ability to work to tight or changing deadlines.
