“I am thrilled that Anna has joined DPS Group and our Strategic Consulting team,” said Sue, Director Strategic Consulting Group. “She is a proven technical and people leader with over 25 years’ experience in biopharmaceutical product lifecycle, bringing expertise in mapping the process, understanding phases from initial lab scale-up pre-clinical to commercial product introductions. Anna will be a huge asset to our company and DPS’s ability to deliver to our international clients’ needs.”

For the last ten years, Anna was in a site leadership role for BioMarin in Ireland focused on rare diseases, where she was responsible for building and leading the Manufacturing Sciences and Technology team, accountable for technology transfers, new product introductions, and process stewardship for manufacturing.  The site is now approved as a multi-product commercial site.

On her appointment, Anna commented: “DPS as a company stood out for me in terms of their reach and offerings to clients, particularly in recent years, as they have been at the forefront of innovation, through partnership with companies that are pioneers in their fields of advanced therapeutic medicines.  Product lifecycle planning is complex, and I look forward to sharing expertise in this area for technology transfers and product introductions.  Foresight and multi-year planning to demonstrate process understanding and a robust control strategy are key to the success of bringing product to patients.  I am also looking forward to partnering with innovator companies whose initial focus is R&D and clinical trials, to bring the expertise of translating the process knowledge into to a clinical and commercial lifecycle map for commercial success.”

Anna earned a master’s degree in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from IT Sligo in the Republic of Ireland, and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, USA.  Anna is a licensed Professional Engineer in the US since 1999.  She has lived in several countries, including Sweden, France, several regions of the US, and Ireland.
