Project Operations Growth in Switzerland
The DPS Group Visp, Switzerland, project operations office opened in April 2020. Initially, this supported our work with our local client Lonza. It’s essential to have this local presence to ensure good team integration, enabling a better relationship with our client and a higher reactivity against the project’s needs. We aim to be the best in the region at offering a qualitative, flexible, and adaptable local engineering team.
Over two years, we have more than doubled our full-time employees. Our recent contracts focus on long-term collaboration in Switzerland and offer services that include process, clean and black utilities, and HVAC, all supported by strong project management, project controls, and construction management teams. We will also offer CQV services soon. A bonus for us is that we collaborate closely with our Contract Services team in Baar, Switzerland, who resource and hire a range of professionals in the pharmaceutical industry.
Today, we focus on ensuring quality for ongoing projects and business development in Romandie, which natively speaks French. In parallel, we are looking toward business development activities in Switzerland’s northern, German-speaking region.
I can’t believe 2022 is coming to an end; it’s been such a quick year. We look forward to all the opportunities ahead of us in Switzerland in 2023 and beyond.
