As President of US Project Operations, Aidan is charged with providing strategic leadership to guide DPS expansion in the U.S. through development and acquisition. He brings more than 22 years of biotech and pharmaceutical industry experience, having previously served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for DPS in Framingham, Mass., since 2011, when the firm opened its first U.S. life sciences division through the acquisition of BioMetics.
Aidan has held other senior management positions with DPS before relocating to the US and was responsible for the delivery of capital projects ranging in value from $10 – $100 million for clients such as Pfizer, Merck, GSK, Eli Lilly and Janssen across various geographic locations, including Ireland, the United Kingdom, Holland and Belgium. Before joining DPS, Aidan held senior project management positions with a number of global blue-chip pharmaceutical firms, where he played key roles in the delivery of capital projects ranging from $150 – $350 million.
Executive responsible for successful delivery of multiple large complex projects with combined estimated value $3.5Billion in the last 6 years across the USA. Leading project execution improvements, driving consistency throughout the organization and developing a strong results-driven culture. Projects range from Advance Technology Facilities, Pharmaceutical Projects, Manufacturing Facilities, Utility Buildings, Office Buildings to General Construction Projects. International experience working in locations such as South Africa, Malaysia, Germany, Taiwan, China and America. Strong business acumen and skilled strategist who transforms strategies into workable project execution models measured against Key Performance Indicators with proven success. Experienced in Collaborate Project Delivery, including BIM (Building Information Modeling), Lean Design and Construction execution with proven efficiency results. Exceptional communication skills including client relations and Business Development capabilities.
As Vice President, Gerard is responsible for providing strategic leadership to guide DPS Technical Services’ growth in the U.S. through both development and acquisition. Gerard has held a number of senior management positions and has almost 20 years’ of biotech, pharmaceutical, and advanced technology industry experience. Educated at the Dublin Institute of Technology and Trinity College Dublin, Gerard received his Ph.D. in Nano-scale Semiconductor Chemistry. After graduating, Morgan held an R&D position within the biomedical division at Enterprise Ireland and subsequently moved into the pharmaceutical field whereby he was appointed Associate Director of Operations for Pfizer (formerly Wyeth). Morgan has served as President of Technical Services for DPS in Framingham, MA, since 2013 and later as President of TSO. Now as Vice President of US Operations, he plays a pivotal role in expanding the US footprint. Gerard is also a member of the Board of Directors at DPS.
Patty is the Head of HR, US, responsible for the Human Resource function in the United States, and has over 20 years of progressive experience in various industries ranging from start-ups to the MLB’s Boston Red Sox to global corporations. She utilizes her vast HR background with senior leaders to collaborate and provide HR strategic direction and development to support the organization’s goals and objectives. Patty graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Bentley University.
Jim brings more than 30 years of experience in the AEC industry to his position of SVP, U.S. Business Development. He joined DPS Group in 2015 and previously served as Vice President of Strategic Development for Boston’s Project Operations. In this role, he successfully led teams and delivered strategic capital projects for leading biotech/pharmaceutical and advanced technology clients. Jim supports all of DPS’ internal and external client relationships with expert guidance in the areas of planning, risk assessment, site selection, estimating, CQV, and operational readiness. He also has special expertise in strategic planning, real estate development, and risk assessments associated with capital projects and product development in the regulated industry and advanced technology sectors. Additionally, Jim fulfills the role of project sponsor for many of DPS’ strategic project initiatives, providing senior management oversight and guidance to project teams on behalf of clients including Moderna, Sanofi, AbbVie, Acorda, Brammer Bio, and Waters Corporation.
Jim is an active member of ISPE Boston, having previously served as president of the chapter’s board of directors and helping to start the ISPE Boston Chapter Scholarship Fund. He is also a founding member of the I2SL New England Chapter.
Alan is the Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) with responsibility for development and delivery of our Digital Strategy. Alan has over 20 years’ experience in IT and Automation in the biopharmaceutical industry with Novartis, Pfizer, Amgen and Bristol Myers Squibb. He has held a variety of technical and managerial roles of increasing responsibility including Senior Automation Manager, Project IT/Automation Director and Director IT Business partner for EU Biologics. Alan graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering and a first class honours master’s degree in industrial engineering both from University College Dublin.
Bob has an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from Rutgers University, along with an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
After working for a short period of time as a Retail Pharmacist, Bob joined Johnson & Johnson. Bob worked within the Operations/Quality area of the pharmaceutical sector. Bob had overseas assignments in both the United Kingdom and Puerto Rico. Bob left J&J for approximately seven years and joined Warner Lambert as their Worldwide Head of Quality. Bob retuned to J&J when Pfizer acquired Warner Lambert. Bob held numerous positions at J&J Pharmaceutical, including Head of Supply Chain for the Biologics Group, and later as Head of Janssen Supply Chain.
Upon Bob’s retirement from J&J he joined Biogen Idec for about one year and assisted them in re-defining their global operations group. Bob worked for Fibrocell, a company developing cell therapy treatments for rare genetic diseases and Agios a Biotech start-up in Cambridge MA focused on oncology.
Bob is a non-executive board member for DPS Group, a consulting, engineering and construction management company and is also a board member of ACT Labs, an analytical testing lab supporting cannabis growers and processors. Bob continues to provide consultancy support to numerous companies.
